Each line in the dossier may equate to days or months of work in areas such as creating and exhibiting art, working on a research projects, or serving on departmental or university committees. At the end of the day, the university art professor does a huge amount of work, just to meet the bare essentials of the job. Fortunately, most of this activity is self managed, and has much flexibility on how and when it is completed.
